Exmouth - Karijini National Park - Broome

Perth has been a disapointment itself. The city is not as nice as Melbourne and there are too many Irish here just working and drinking - I can earn more at home and drink nicer beer - I want to do stuff I can’t do at home! Went Down to Fremantle for the Friday that. That was pretty cool. The beach was nice but there was no one there. As soon as the temperature drops below 30oC the locals think its winter. The Hostel was alot of fun. There is still no way im drinking that cheap wine that all the other travellers drink. Ill keep on breaking the budget to get beer. I expect Dan told you that my drinking abilities have some what diminished. Well it seems true. After being out drunk by the 18year old PSBs in Sydney it has just got worse!
But I had to come back to Perth for an early departure Monday morning. Booked on a tour up the coast to Exmouth. Plenty of ace stuff to do, but alot will depend on the other people on tour.

Enjoy getting back to school to all you teachers/pupils out there. Good Luck with exams to you students, except my Brother who does not do exams. Good luck with the painting. The weather may be good there but it wont last!
Song Lyric of the week:
I looked out this morning and the sun was gone
Turned on some music to start my day
I lost myself in a familiar song
I closed my eyes and I slipped away
Happy Eatser to all. Hope you are all enjoying the Holiday, be it 4days or 4 weeks. Well done Broseth on getting into your Masters. That will make you 25 before you ever think about a real job!
Back in to Melbourne for Dan’s last 4 days of Holiday. Took up lodgeings at the Hotel CakPak. 4 days of excellent comedy alround. Watched Ed Bryne, Phil Nichol, We are Klang and finally, after 5 years of Dan banging on and on and on, Russel Howard. It was all very good. Two nights we went to a late night comedy club and saw even more great comedy. And some utter shite. Thanks to Dans contacts we got to hangout with his bro and some comedians. Had a brilliant kick about down the park with a load of comedians. Soccer as you have to call it here. It was a really good game, 8v8, jumpers for goal post, half time. Dan has not ran so far ever! I scored a volley from an Ardal O’Hanlon cross, he was the most famous comedian there.
On Saturday we went to The MCG to watch some footy. It was awesome. The Ticket only costs 7 quid, it was the best stadium ive ever been in and the match lasts 2 hours. Some kind fellows sat in front of us explained all the rules and it was a really good afternoon out. Dan was more interested in the clever Ketchup Sachets he got with his footlong, whos got the footlong!

Dan departed this morning. He had a great time but he is a business man and deals need to be made. Deal, Gag, Deal. I moved to the YHA hostel. They really are worth the extra 3quid. 2 days of detox for me before my flight to Perth on Wednesday. Good knows whats going to happen then. The adventure continues…
The weather on Sunday at Apollo Bay was nor beach worthy, so we had to withdraw and seek shelter in the pub. Spent all afternoon drinking halfs like men. Watching the footy, the Cats (our adopted team) lost heavilly. Had a roast dinner, the best in since home. It even had peppers in the veg, but it was good and the alcohol helped it down. We went back to our house and watched some of the swimming and then enjoyed the horrificlly offensive oz comedy.
Left Apollo Bay on Monday Morning, and playing by our own rules, set of west to finish the Great Ocean Road. Stopped off at the 12 apostles and London Bridge.

Stopped in the sleepy little town of Port Fairy. Decided we had had enough of the counrty and decided to withdraw from the trip 2 days early. To be on the safe side. Dan had kangaroo for tea.
Back into St Kilda yesterday. Went to the beach as it was sunny, but it was very windy and cold when we got there. Spent the evening at the crown Casino. Dan scared the KFC staff. He takes no prisoners when fast food is concerned (see Nandos story). Played a bit of roulet. I made a quick $100 and withdrew in a timley manner. Dan, the maverick played on and made a hefty sum, before lossing it all and going home $200 down. Notice how I leave these sums of money in AUS$ to make the stats seem more impressive. After the casino we searched the city centre for a poster of Russel Howard with no luck.
As my good friend Kes Srikanthan would say, or rather paint in 2foot letters all over our living room wall: Enjoy It while you can.
Song Lyric of the Week:
Ive had the same jeans on for four days now
Going to a disco in the middle of the town
Everybodys dressing up, Im dressing down
